Clean the outer shell with a mild soap solution and a soft, damp cloth; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the shell finish and graphic.
Clean the visor with warm water and a soft microfibre cloth only — never wipe a dry visor as it will scratch the surface.
Lift the chin bar and use the integrated sun shield daily to keep both mechanisms free-moving; never force either component.
Remove the cheek pads and interior liner for washing; follow the care label on each panel and allow all components to air-dry fully before reinserting — do not use a tumble dryer.
Wipe the sun shield slider channel and chin bar hinge area with a damp cloth periodically to prevent grit build-up that can cause stiff or uneven operation.
Inspect the chin strap webbing and buckle before each ride; replace the strap if fraying, cuts, or corrosion are present.
Store the helmet in its bag or a breathable cover, away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and extreme heat, all of which degrade the EPS liner and shell over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact even if no external damage is visible — EPS liner damage is typically invisible to the eye.
