The HJC i71 SIMO is a full-face motorcycle helmet built for everyday road and commuter riding, pairing a lightweight polycarbonate shell with practical ventilation and a Pinlock-ready shield in a mid-range package.

  • Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water only; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol, or harsh chemicals that can damage the polycarbonate shell or graphic finish.
  • Clean the visor with warm soapy water or a dedicated visor cleaner; never wipe a dry visor as doing so causes micro-scratches that impair vision.
  • Remove cheek pads and crown liner before washing; hand-wash in cold water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry completely before reinstalling.
  • Insert the supplied Pinlock lens onto the visor's dedicated mounting pins; ensure the Pinlock seal contacts the visor evenly around its entire perimeter for effective anti-fog performance.
  • Use the RapidFire mechanism to remove or swap the visor without tools; confirm both locking tabs click fully into position when refitting.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is present — the EPS liner is a single-use energy-absorbing component.
  • Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour, and chemical fumes, which degrade polycarbonate over time.
  • Do not paint, drill, or structurally modify the shell, liner, or retention system in any way.
