The HJC i71 Sera is a full-face road helmet built around HJC's Advanced Polycarbonate Composite shell, engineered to meet the ECE 22.06 standard while remaining accessible for everyday commuting and recreational riding.

The Sera graphic in HJC's MC-5 colourway gives the helmet a distinctive finish, and the integrated drop-down sun shield removes the need to carry a spare tinted visor. The removable, washable interior and advanced channelling ventilation system make it a practical choice for riders who wear their helmet regularly.

  • ECE 22.06 and DOT FMVSS No. 218 certified full-face helmet
  • Advanced Polycarbonate Composite (APC) shell construction
  • Integrated retractable internal sun shield
  • Pinlock-ready face shield
  • Advanced Channelling Ventilation System (ACS) with adjustable intake and exhaust vents
  • Removable and washable interior liner and cheek pads
  • Quick-release chin strap buckle system
  • Sera graphic in HJC MC-5 colourway
  • Multiple shell sizes for optimised fit across the size range

  • Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soap solution; avoid petroleum-based cleaners, solvents or abrasive materials as these degrade polycarbonate.
  • Clean the face shield with warm water and a mild detergent using a microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as dust particles will scratch the surface.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent; allow to air dry completely before refitting — do not tumble dry or use direct heat.
  • Operate the integrated sun shield slider regularly to keep the mechanism free; if it becomes stiff, a small amount of silicone lubricant on the mechanism is acceptable.
  • Inspect the Pinlock-ready seal around the face shield periodically and ensure it seats evenly to maintain anti-fog performance.
  • Store the helmet in its bag or box in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, exhaust residue and chemical exposure, all of which degrade shell integrity and liner materials.
  • Never apply adhesives, stickers or paint directly to the shell without confirming compatibility, as solvents in these products can weaken polycarbonate.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if external damage is not visible; internal EPS foam compresses on impact and does not recover.
  • Inspect chin strap webbing and the quick-release buckle before each ride; retire the helmet if webbing shows fraying or the buckle does not latch securely.
