Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, fuel, or abrasive cleaners that can degrade the polycarbonate shell and finish.
Clean the visor separately with a soft, lint-free cloth and warm water; remove it from the helmet before cleaning to avoid scratching adjacent surfaces.
Remove cheek pads and the interior crown liner and hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent; air dry fully before refitting — do not use a tumble dryer.
Inspect the EQR cheek pad pull tabs periodically to ensure they are properly seated; the red tabs are for emergency removal only and should not be used during normal donning or doffing.
