HJC I71 Helmet - PEKA MC-3HSF

Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; never use petrol, acetone, paint thinners or other solvents, which can degrade the polycarbonate shell and graphics.
Clean the visor with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent using a clean microfibre cloth; avoid dry wiping or abrasive materials that will scratch the lens surface.
Retract the SunShield fully before cleaning and store it in the closed position when not riding to protect the lens from scratches.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cold water with mild detergent; allow all components to air-dry completely before refitting — do not tumble dry or use direct heat.
Inspect the helmet for cracks, dents or deformation after any impact, however minor; replace immediately if damage is found, as the EPS liner does not recover after absorbing an impact.
Replace the helmet if it is five or more years from its date of manufacture, or earlier if the shell, retention system or liner shows visible wear or deterioration.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and household chemicals, all of which accelerate degradation of shell and foam materials.
Do not apply paint, adhesive vinyl, stickers or aftermarket coatings to the shell unless explicitly approved by HJC, as these can compromise the structural integrity of the polycarbonate.
Fasten and check the retention system before every ride; replace the chinstrap if it shows fraying, cracking or loss of buckle function.
