Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water using a soft cloth; never use solvents, petrol-based cleaners or abrasive pads.
Clean the face shield with mild soap and water; avoid paper towels or dry cloths that can introduce fine scratches.
If a Pinlock EVO insert is fitted, clean it by rinsing gently with water only — do not use cleaning agents on the insert.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads by following the release tabs; machine wash on a gentle cycle or hand wash in cool water, then air dry fully before refitting.
Do not apply paint, adhesive stickers or chemical treatments to the shell, as these can degrade the polycarbonate and void protection.
Store the helmet in its dust bag or a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuels and extreme heat, which can accelerate degradation of foam and shell materials.
Inspect the retention system and chin strap regularly for fraying or buckle wear and replace if damaged.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact — even with no visible external damage, internal EPS foam may be compromised.
Check that the face shield locking mechanism seats securely before each ride; replace a scratched or damaged shield promptly as it reduces visibility.
