Clean the outer shell with mild soap and lukewarm water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, petrol or abrasive cleaners as these degrade the shell and graphics.
Clean the visor with warm water and a soft cloth or mild detergent; never wipe a dry visor as this scratches the lens.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent; allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
Insert the Pinlock EVO anti-fog lens into the visor to reduce misting in cold or wet conditions — ensure it is seated evenly against both visor pins.
Inspect the visor seal and pivot mechanism periodically; replace the visor if it shows cracks, deep scratches or reduced clarity.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — EPS liner damage is not always external.
Store the helmet in its bag or on a stable helmet stand, away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour and extreme heat.
Do not apply paint, adhesive wraps or non-approved stickers to the shell, as these can weaken the outer structure.
Check that the retention system (chin strap and buckle) fastens securely before every ride; inspect the strap webbing for fraying periodically.
