Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water using a soft, damp cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or petrol, as these degrade polycarbonate and graphics.
Clean the visor with a damp soft cloth or dedicated visor cleaner; never wipe a dry visor — doing so causes micro-scratches that impair vision, particularly in low light.
To fit the Pinlock 30 EVO lens, open the visor fully, align the lens pins with the recesses on the inner visor edge, and press firmly until both pins are fully seated and the lens sits flat.
Operate the integrated SunShield using the lever on the left side of the chin bar; keep the mechanism free of road grime and dust to maintain smooth deployment.
To remove the visor using the RapidFire+ system, open it to approximately 90°, locate the release tabs at each pivot, press and rotate the visor outward; reverse the process to fit a new visor.
Detach the interior liner and cheek pads by releasing their snap and velcro connections; hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent and allow to air-dry completely before refitting — do not machine-wash or tumble-dry.
Inspect the helmet externally after any impact; polycarbonate shells can sustain internal structural damage that is not visible to the eye — retire the helmet immediately if it has been involved in an accident or dropped from height onto a hard surface.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and cleaning chemicals; a helmet bag is recommended to prevent surface abrasion.
Replace the helmet at least every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if the shell, EPS liner, visor, or retention system shows signs of wear, discolouration or damage.
