Description

The HJC i71 is a full-face motorcycle helmet from HJC's mid-range road lineup, designed to offer a considered balance of protection, comfort, and ventilation for everyday and weekend riding. The CELOS graphic in the MC-3H colourway delivers a distinctive, modern aesthetic without compromising the helmet's practical focus.

Constructed with a polycarbonate shell and a fully removable, washable interior, the i71 is built with rider convenience in mind. The RST visor system allows tool-free lens removal in the field, while the Pinlock EVO-ready visor provides a straightforward upgrade path for cold and wet-weather riding.

Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth and mild soap and water only; never use solvents, petrol-based cleaners, or abrasive pads as these degrade the polycarbonate shell.
Always remove the interior liner and cheek pads before washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air dry completely before refitting.
Wipe the visor with a soft damp cloth; never wipe a dry visor as fine dust particles will scratch the lens surface.
Fit a Pinlock EVO insert (sold separately if not included) to the visor for effective anti-fog performance in cold or wet conditions.
Allow all components to dry naturally away from direct heat sources such as radiators, hair dryers, or direct sunlight.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and chemical fumes, which can degrade both the shell and foam liner over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if there is no visible external damage — the EPS liner is a single-use energy absorber and will not perform as intended in a subsequent impact.
As a general guideline, consider replacing the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if the shell, liner, or retention system shows signs of deterioration.
Do not apply paint, adhesive decals, or aftermarket coatings to the outer shell, as these may compromise the structural integrity of the polycarbonate.
