The HJC i30 is a full-featured open-face motorcycle helmet built for riders who want the freedom of a 3/4 shell without compromising on everyday practicality. It suits urban commuters and weekend tourers looking for an accessible, comfortable option from a trusted helmet brand.

The Slight MC-2SF is a graphic colourway finished in HJC's semi-flat (SF) coat, giving it a subdued, matte appearance. The MC-2SF designation sits within HJC's standardised colour-coding system, identifying the specific shade combination across the range.

  • Open-face (3/4) shell design for maximum peripheral vision and ventilation
  • Integrated drop-down internal sun visor for riding in changing light conditions
  • Advanced Polycarbonate composite shell construction
  • Multi-density EPS impact-absorbing liner
  • Removable and washable interior comfort liner
  • Slight graphic in MC-2SF semi-flat colourway

  • Clean the helmet shell using a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and lukewarm water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or petrol, as these damage the shell and graphic finish.
  • Clean the face shield separately with warm water and a mild soap solution; never wipe a dry or dusty visor as this scratches the lens surface.
  • Activate the drop-down sun visor only when stationary or at low speed to avoid wind resistance catching the mechanism; close it fully before highway riding.
  • Remove the interior comfort liner before washing; follow the care label on the liner — most HJC liners are machine washable on a gentle, cold-water cycle.
  • Allow the liner to air-dry completely before reinserting; do not use a tumble dryer or direct heat source.
  • Inspect the sun visor pivot and the outer shield ratchet mechanism periodically; if either feels stiff or the visor does not seat flush, clean the pivot points with a dry cloth and check for debris.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals — UV exposure degrades polycarbonate shells over time.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if external damage is not visible; the EPS liner is a single-use component and cannot be inspected for internal deformation without laboratory equipment.
  • Do not paint, apply stickers with solvent-based adhesives, or use aerosol sprays near the helmet, as solvents attack the shell and compromise structural integrity.
