Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; never use solvents, fuel-based cleaners or abrasive pads, as these degrade the shell finish and graphics.
Wipe the visor with a damp cloth or dedicated visor cleaner; never wipe a dry visor, as dust particles can permanently scratch the lens surface.
Remove the interior liner and cheek pads for washing; hand-wash in cool water with mild detergent, rinse thoroughly, and allow to air-dry completely before reinstalling — do not machine-dry.
Operate the drop-down sun shield mechanism regularly; if it feels stiff, gently clean the guide channel with a slightly damp cloth rather than forcing the lever.
Inspect the visor seals periodically and replace them if cracked or flattened to maintain wind and weather sealing.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even where no visible damage is present — EPS foam compresses permanently on hard impact and does not return to full protective capacity.
Store the helmet in its carry bag away from direct sunlight, fuels, lubricants and extreme heat, all of which degrade shell integrity and liner materials over time.
Do not hang the helmet by the chin strap for extended periods, as this can distort the internal EPS liner shape.
