Description

The HJC i20 SCRAW is a full-face motorcycle helmet aimed at everyday street and road riders who want reliable protection without sacrificing all-day comfort. Built around HJC's polycarbonate shell and a multi-density EPS liner, the i20 balances weight and impact management for commuting and weekend road use. The Advanced Channeling Ventilation System and fully removable, washable interior reinforce its credentials as a practical daily-wear lid.

Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, acetone or abrasive cleaners as these will damage the shell and graphics.
Clean the visor with lukewarm water and a clean microfibre cloth; avoid paper towels which can scratch the anti-scratch coating.
Remove the interior liner by unclipping the cheek pads and crown liner, then hand-wash in cold water with gentle detergent; allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and away from fuel, oil or chemical vapours which degrade EPS and shell integrity.
Do not hang the helmet by the chin strap for extended periods, as this can distort the retention system.
Inspect the retention strap, D-ring or buckle before each ride to ensure it fastens securely.
Replace the helmet after any impact, even if no visible damage is present — internal EPS damage is not always detectable by sight.
HJC recommends replacing the helmet every five years from the manufacture date (printed inside the helmet) regardless of condition, as shell and liner materials degrade over time.
If fitting a Pinlock anti-fog lens, align the lens pins carefully and ensure a consistent edge seal to prevent moisture ingress between the lens layers.
