The BATOL graphic in MC-2SF presents HJC's semi-flat finish in a red and dark silver colourway, offering a more subdued alternative to high-gloss lids. The i20 suits commuters and recreational riders who want a well-fitted, reliable full-face helmet without unnecessary complexity.

  • Clean the shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; never use petrol, solvents, abrasive cleaners or spray-on polishes, as these degrade the shell material and graphics.
  • Clean the face shield with warm soapy water and a clean microfibre cloth; avoid dry cloths or abrasive materials that will scratch the optical surface.
  • Remove the interior liner and cheek pads and hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent; allow to air dry fully before reinserting — do not tumble dry or use direct heat sources.
  • Store the helmet in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemical fumes; use a helmet bag or carry bag to protect the shell and visor from dust and scratches.
  • Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even when no visible external damage is present — the EPS liner deforms permanently on impact and cannot be assessed by sight alone.
  • Replace the face shield when scratching or crazing becomes noticeable, as optical distortion impairs riding visibility and safety.
  • Do not apply adhesive stickers, paint or solvents directly to the shell exterior, as these can penetrate and weaken the polycarbonate structure.
  • Check the face shield seal periodically for wear or deformation; replace if wind noise or water ingress increases noticeably.
  • Regardless of condition, retire and replace the helmet in accordance with HJC's stated product lifespan — most manufacturers recommend replacement after five years from the date of manufacture.
