Operations & maintenance

Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners that can damage the shell finish and graphics.
Clean the visor with a clean, damp microfibre cloth; never wipe a dry visor as grit will scratch the surface.
Remove the interior liner for washing; hand-wash in lukewarm water with mild detergent and allow to air dry completely before reinserting — never machine wash or tumble dry.
To deploy the drop-down sun visor, use the dedicated side slider; do not force it if stiff, as debris may have entered the mechanism — clear gently with a soft brush.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel, and solvents, all of which can degrade shell integrity over time.
Do not use the helmet as a seat or place heavy objects on it; unseen impacts to the EPS liner can compromise protection without any visible external damage.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, regardless of whether external damage is visible — the EPS liner is a one-use component.
As a general guideline, replace any helmet after five years from the manufacture date, or sooner if the shell, liner, or retention system shows signs of deterioration or poor fit.
