Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soap and warm water; avoid petroleum-based products, aerosol sprays, or abrasive pads that will degrade the shell finish and graphics.
Clean the face shield with lukewarm water and a soft microfibre cloth only — never wipe a dry shield, as this creates micro-scratches that reduce optical clarity over time.
Activate the drop-down sun visor via the internal slider control; wipe the slider track periodically with a dry cloth to keep it free of dust and grit that cause sticking.
To swap or remove the face shield, use the RapidFire II release tabs on each side — no tools required; confirm the shield clicks fully into both lock points before riding.
Remove the cheek pads and crown liner by pulling at the snap or velcro attachment points, then hand-wash in cool water with a mild detergent and allow to air-dry fully before reinserting.
Store the helmet in its protective bag in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, paint fumes, and extreme heat — all of which accelerate degradation of the EPS liner and shell.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact even when no visible damage is present; the EPS liner is designed for single-use energy absorption and will not perform as intended in a subsequent impact.
Replace the helmet every five years from its date of manufacture as a general guideline, regardless of visible condition, due to gradual material ageing.
