The Hiflofiltro HFA6303 is an OE-replacement air filter element for the KTM 200 Duke, 390 Duke and 390 Adventure, and the Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 and Vitpilen 401. It drops straight into the standard airbox in place of the factory element, so there is no rejetting or fuelling change needed.

It suits riders handling their own routine servicing, as well as workshops after a straightforward replacement part. A clean filter helps the engine breathe properly and keeps grit out of the intake tract, which matters on small-capacity singles that spend time on dusty back roads and in stop-start traffic.

Please confirm the part suits your exact model and year before ordering.

  • Check your owner's manual or workshop schedule for the air filter service and replacement interval for your model, and follow it rather than a generic figure.
  • Inspect the element at each service for tears, crushed pleats, oil contamination or a damaged sealing edge, and replace it if any are present.
  • Replace the element more often if you ride regularly on dirt, gravel or dusty roads, or in heavy traffic.
  • Fit the element dry and unmodified — this is an OE-replacement filter and does not require filter oil or any fuelling or jetting change.
  • Make sure the sealing lip seats evenly all the way around the airbox and that the airbox cover and clips are properly secured, so unfiltered air cannot bypass the element.
  • Clean any loose debris out of the airbox and intake snorkel before fitting the new element, and take care not to drop dirt into the intake while the airbox is open.
  • Do not run the bike without a filter fitted, and do not refit an element that has been soaked, distorted or damaged.
  • Store the spare element flat in its packaging in a cool, dry place, away from fuel, solvents and direct sunlight.
