The Rocky Creek Designs Helmetlok is a compact security accessory that lets you leave your helmet with the bike instead of carrying it. It is supplied here together with the T-Bar attachment, which suits Shoei helmets.
Suited to commuters, tourers and anyone who regularly parks up for coffee, fuel or a quick errand and would rather not lug a helmet around. Small enough to live in a jacket pocket or under the seat.

- Fit the T-Bar to the helmet as directed in the supplied instructions before first use.
- Attach the lock to a solid, fixed part of the motorcycle rather than to bodywork, cabling or brake lines.
- Check the helmet is properly captured and the lock is closed before walking away.
- Rinse off road salt, grit and dust with fresh water and dry thoroughly, particularly after wet or coastal riding.
- Apply a light spray of a suitable lock lubricant periodically to keep the mechanism moving freely; avoid heavy greases that attract grit.
- Store the lock dry when not in use to reduce corrosion.
- Inspect the lock and attachment regularly for wear, damage or a sticking mechanism and replace if either is compromised.
- Treat the lock as a deterrent only — do not leave a helmet unattended for long periods or overnight.
