The Mitas H03 is a bias-ply tyre engineered for classic and vintage motorcycles, offering a period-correct tread pattern that suits the aesthetics and handling characteristics of older British, European and Japanese machines. The 3.00-18 size is a common fitment across a wide range of mid-century bikes, and the tube-type (TT) construction matches the original specification of most classic-era wheels.

- Always fit this tyre with a compatible inner tube of the correct size — it is a Tube Type (TT) tyre and must not be run tubeless.
- Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician; incorrect fitting can damage the tube or tyre bead.
- Allow a break-in period of approximately 100 km at moderate speeds and lean angles to allow the tyre surface to fully seat and scrub in before applying full lean or hard braking.
- Check tyre pressure when cold before every ride; refer to your motorcycle manufacturer's recommended pressures for the 3.00-18 size.
- Inspect the tyre regularly for cuts, cracking, embedded objects, or uneven wear — classic tyres may be more susceptible to ozone and UV degradation if the bike is stored long-term.
- Store unmounted tyres horizontally, or hung vertically, in a cool, dark, dry location away from direct sunlight, ozone sources (electric motors, fluorescent lights) and petroleum products.
- Do not exceed the 52P speed or load rating; overloading or sustained high-speed riding beyond the rating voids safe operating limits.
- Replace the inner tube whenever fitting a new tyre; a used tube can fail unpredictably inside a new tyre.
