The Thor Guardian MX Youth Body Armour is a full upper-body roost deflector built for young motocross and off-road riders. It pairs a moulded Stone Shield chest panel with a Level 1 back protector, so a single unit covers both front and back rather than needing separate pieces.

A press-fit moulded comfort liner smooths the inner chassis against the body, while Biofoam shoulder pads and an adjustable strap system let the armour be dialled in as a young rider grows. Ventilation ports through the shell help keep heat down on long motos, and the refined shape is designed to sit close to the body for coverage without excess bulk.

Fit the armour before the first ride: set the shoulder straps and waist buckle so the chest and back plates sit centred and snug against the body with no side-to-side movement.
Re-check the strap and buckle adjustment regularly as a young rider grows, and before each ride check that buckles latch fully and straps are not frayed or twisted.
Hand wash the shell and straps with warm water and a mild soap, using a soft cloth or sponge; rinse thoroughly.
Do not machine wash, tumble dry, iron or dry clean, and keep the armour away from solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and other harsh chemicals that can weaken the plastics.
Air dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and other heat sources — heat can distort the moulded panels.
Rinse off mud, dust and sweat after riding and let the armour dry fully before storing, to stop odour and degradation of the liner and straps.
Store flat or hanging in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight; do not leave it in a hot vehicle or under heavy gear that could deform the shell.
Inspect the shell, liner and back protector after any significant crash or impact — replace the armour if you find cracks, permanent deformation, torn foam or damaged fastening hardware.
Do not modify the armour by drilling, cutting or heating it, as this voids its protective performance and certification.
