The Alpinestars GP Tech V2 is a professional-level racing glove built for riders who demand maximum protection without giving up feel at the controls. A seamless stretch backhand construction, combined with Kevlar® stretch panels and leather, keeps the glove moving with your hand through long stints on track, reducing fatigue while preserving dexterity on the levers and throttle.

Protection is led by an over-injected, ergonomically shaped dual-density knuckle that absorbs repeated impacts in a compact, flexible component, supported by a kangaroo leather palm for abrasion resistance in the zones that matter most. The redesigned GP DFS cuff adds impact protection and friction control in a lighter, smaller package tuned for performance riding.

Try the gloves on before first use and allow a short break-in period — leather racing gloves are cut to a close race fit and will mould to the hand with wear.
Fasten both closures on every ride; the dual closure system is what keeps the glove on the hand in a slide.
Wipe dirt, bugs and road grime off the leather with a soft damp cloth and allow to dry naturally.
Never machine wash, tumble dry or dry-clean, and keep the gloves away from direct heat sources such as heaters, exhausts or hot dashboards — heat shrinks and hardens leather.
If the gloves get wet, dry them slowly at room temperature, away from sunlight and heat, and reshape them while damp.
Store flat or lightly stuffed in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight; avoid leaving them compressed under other gear.
Inspect the knuckle cup, cuff, palm slider and fingertip sliders regularly for cracks, abrasion or loose stitching, and check the seams around the palm.
Replace the gloves after any crash or significant impact — protective components are designed to absorb energy once and may be compromised even if damage is not visible.
Avoid solvents, petrol, brake cleaner and harsh detergents on the leather and protective components.
