GIVI Tanklock Flange Fitting Kit Ninja H2 SX

The GIVI BF35 is the vehicle-specific flange that turns the fuel filler area of a Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX into a mounting point for the GIVI Tanklock system. It is the hardware half of the system: once the flange is fitted to the bike, a compatible GIVI Tanklock or Tanklocked tank bag clips straight on and releases at the press of the bag's lever.

Suited to H2 SX riders who want secure, strap-free tank luggage for commuting, sports touring and longer trips, without magnets or straps sitting against the paintwork. The flange is low profile and stays on the bike when the bag is off, so the bike still looks tidy when you ride unloaded.

Fit the flange to the fuel filler area using the vehicle-specific instructions supplied with the kit, and confirm the tank bag clips on and releases cleanly before riding.
Check the flange fasteners are properly seated and secure after the first ride, then periodically — vibration can loosen hardware over time.
Always confirm the bag is fully latched to the flange before setting off; lift the bag upwards to test it is locked.
Remove the tank bag before refuelling so the filler cap and surrounding area are clear.
Keep the flange and the bag's locking mechanism free of grit, road salt and dried mud; blow or brush debris out so the latch engages fully.
Wipe the flange with a soft damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh solvents and high-pressure washing directly at the mount and filler area.
Clean the tank surface under and around the flange when the bag is off, and check for grit that could rub the paint.
Do not overload the tank bag or hang extra weight from the flange, and avoid using it as a handhold or lifting point.
Re-check fitment after any work that involves removing the fuel filler cap or tank fasteners.
Store the bike with the bag removed where possible, and inspect the flange for damage or distortion after any drop or impact.
