The GIVI SR357 is a model-specific rear rack that lets you run a GIVI MONOKEY top case on the Yamaha FJR1300. It bolts to the existing mounting points at the rear of the bike using purpose-made support arms and adapter plates, so there is no drilling, guesswork or universal-fit compromise, and the MONOKEY top case mounting plate comes included in the kit.

It suits FJR1300 riders who commute, tour or simply want secure, lockable storage that can be fitted and removed in seconds. Once the rack is on, a MONOKEY case clicks straight onto the plate and lifts off just as easily when you want the bike back to standard.

Fitment is listed for FJR1300 2006-2020; some suppliers list this kit for 2016-2020 only, so please confirm your model year with us before ordering. Top case, panniers and other luggage shown in images are not included.

  • Fit the rack using the supplied model-specific hardware and follow GIVI's included instructions - do not substitute bolts of a different length or grade.
  • Re-check all mounting bolts after the first ride and then at regular intervals, as vibration can loosen fasteners over time.
  • Never exceed the 10 kg maximum load for the rack, and keep within the top case manufacturer's own load rating as well.
  • Pack heavy items low and as far forward in the case as possible; weight carried high and behind the rear axle affects handling and stability, particularly at speed and in crosswinds.
  • Check the top case is fully clicked onto the MONOKEY plate and locked before every ride, and give it a firm tug to confirm.
  • Remove the top case when you are not carrying luggage to reduce load and wind effect on the rack.
  • Wash with warm water and mild detergent, then dry thoroughly; avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners, harsh degreasers and abrasive pads on painted or plated surfaces.
  • Keep the MONOKEY plate rails, latch and lock clean and free of grit; apply a light spray lubricant to the lock barrel occasionally and wipe away any excess.
  • Inspect the rack and its mounting points periodically for paint chips, corrosion or cracking, and touch up damaged finish promptly - especially if the bike sees salt air or winter roads.
  • Do not use the rack as a lifting or tie-down point for transporting the motorcycle, and do not modify or drill it.

Nothing lined up!

This product was awful to fit. Nothing lined up because the supplied mounting spacers are not the correct measurement. Thankfully I had a lathe to correct this issue after many hours of fiddling around!

The only highlight in all this is that the team at Scootering are a pleasure to deal with.
