The GIVI A660 Airstar is a universal motorcycle windscreen aimed at riders of traditional and retro-styled machines who want more wind protection without altering the character of the bike. Its clean, understated shape is designed to sit naturally on a naked or classic motorcycle rather than dominate the front end.
Because it is a universal screen rather than a model-specific one, the A660 is supplied with GIVI's D40 fitting kit, which mounts to two points and can be adjusted to suit a range of bikes and riding positions. It suits commuters and weekend riders looking to cut windblast on open roads while keeping the front of the bike looking uncluttered.

- Check headlight, handlebar, instrument and steering-lock clearance before fitting, and turn the bars lock to lock once mounted to confirm nothing fouls.
- Mount the screen using the supplied D40 bars, clamps and brackets, tightening fasteners progressively and evenly — over-tightening clamps against the screen can craze or crack it.
- Set the height and angle so you look over the top of the screen rather than through it, then re-check the setting after a short test ride at low speed.
- Re-check all clamp and bracket fasteners after the first ride and periodically thereafter, as vibration can loosen hardware over time.
- Wash with plenty of clean water and a mild soap using a soft cloth or sponge; grit lifted by water first prevents scratching.
- Do not dry-wipe a dusty screen, and avoid solvents, petrol, ammonia-based glass cleaners, abrasive polishes and scourers.
- Dry with a clean soft cloth or chamois, and avoid pressure washing directly at the screen or its mounting hardware.
- Remove insects and road film promptly by soaking with water rather than scrubbing, as dried residue is harder on the surface.
- Rinse and dry the stainless bars, clamps and brackets after riding in wet or salty conditions to keep the hardware clean.
- Inspect the screen regularly for cracks, crazing, deep scratches or distortion in your line of sight, and replace it if the view is compromised.
- Avoid resting helmets, jackets or tank bags against the screen, and take care not to lever on it when moving or parking the bike.
