The GIVI B29N2 is a 29-litre Monolock top case in embossed black with red reflectors, designed for riders who want secure, lockable storage without adding unnecessary bulk or weight. It swallows a single modular helmet plus the odds and ends of a daily commute, and lifts off the bike with the same key that opens the lid.
Monolock is GIVI's lighter-duty fitting system, developed for scooters, maxi-scooters and smaller-capacity machines used mainly for short to medium trips. The case ships with a universal mounting plate, so it can be fitted to a wide range of racks and carriers.
Please note: although a universal plate is supplied, model-specific brackets or a rack may still be required to fit this case to your particular bike.

- Fit the universal plate to a suitable rack or carrier — depending on your bike, model-specific brackets or a rack may need to be purchased separately.
- Before each ride, check that the case has clicked fully onto the plate and that the lock is engaged; a partially latched case can lift off at speed.
- Re-check the plate's mounting bolts periodically, particularly after the first few rides and after carrying heavier loads, and tighten any that have worked loose.
- Do not exceed the maximum load rating specified by GIVI for the case and mounting plate, and pack heavier items low and centred rather than at the rear of the case.
- Wash with warm water and mild soapy water using a soft cloth or sponge; avoid petrol, solvents, harsh degreasers and abrasive pads, which can dull or craze the plastic and damage the reflectors.
- Dry the case thoroughly after wet rides and leave the lid ajar to air out so moisture and odours don't build up inside; treat the case as weather-resistant rather than sealed and use a dry bag for anything moisture-sensitive.
- Keep the lock barrel clean and free of grit; use a dry or graphite lock lubricant rather than heavy oils, which attract dirt.
- Store the case indoors and out of prolonged direct sunlight when it's off the bike, and keep the spare key somewhere separate from the bike.
- Remove the case when it isn't needed — carrying it empty adds weight high and rearward, which affects handling in crosswinds.
