Ensure the F-Series monorack is correctly and securely fitted to the bike before attaching the M3 plate.
Torque all joint bolts to the manufacturer's specified value; do not overtighten alloy fittings.
Inspect the plate and joint hardware for loosening, cracking or corrosion before every long ride.
Clean with a damp cloth and mild detergent; avoid harsh solvents or abrasive compounds that can damage alloy surfaces.
Apply a light corrosion-inhibiting spray to the joint hardware if the bike is regularly ridden in wet or coastal conditions.
If the plate shows any cracking or deformation, replace it before further use — do not attempt to repair structural alloy components.
Store the bike or removed case assembly in a dry environment to minimise corrosion of the mounting hardware.
