Inspect webbing before every use for fraying, cuts, or abrasion — discard any strap showing visible damage.
Check S-hooks for bending, cracking, or deformation before attaching to the trailer or ute tray.
Loop the strap around a solid frame or handlebar anchor point; avoid placing tension directly across brake or clutch components.
Tighten gradually and evenly across both sides of the bike to keep it upright without overloading one anchor point.
Release tension slowly and controlled when removing the bike to prevent it shifting unexpectedly.
Keep webbing away from fuel, oil, brake fluid, and harsh chemicals, which degrade synthetic fibres over time.
Store out of direct sunlight and UV exposure when not in use — prolonged UV exposure weakens webbing.
