  • Inspect webbing before every use for fraying, cuts, or abrasion — discard any strap showing visible damage.
  • Check S-hooks for bending, cracking, or deformation before attaching to the trailer or ute tray.
  • Loop the strap around a solid frame or handlebar anchor point; avoid placing tension directly across brake or clutch components.
  • Tighten gradually and evenly across both sides of the bike to keep it upright without overloading one anchor point.
  • Release tension slowly and controlled when removing the bike to prevent it shifting unexpectedly.
  • Keep webbing away from fuel, oil, brake fluid, and harsh chemicals, which degrade synthetic fibres over time.
  • Store out of direct sunlight and UV exposure when not in use — prolonged UV exposure weakens webbing.
  • Rinse with fresh water and mild soap if contaminated with mud or grime; allow to dry fully before rolling and storing.
