  • Inspect the full length of each strap and both hooks before every use; retire and replace any strap showing fraying, cuts, UV bleaching, or corrosion.
  • Ensure each S-hook is fully seated over the anchor point and cannot lift free before the vehicle moves — an improperly set hook can release under vibration.
  • Apply tension evenly on both sides of the motorcycle to keep it upright and avoid placing asymmetric load on forks, subframes, or bodywork.
