- Attach the spine adapter by sliding it onto the rail channel on the rear of the inReach Mini until it clicks securely into place.
- Clip the carabiner through the loop on the adapter and onto your pack strap, gear loop, or bag D-ring before riding or hiking.
- Periodically check that the carabiner gate closes and locks fully; replace the carabiner if the gate shows wear or fails to snap shut.
- Wipe the adapter and carabiner clean with a damp cloth; avoid prolonged submersion or exposure to harsh chemicals.
- Inspect the spine rail connection point on the inReach Mini for dirt or debris that could prevent a secure fit, and clear with a soft brush if needed.
- Store away from extreme heat and direct sunlight when not in use to preserve the integrity of the plastic and metal components.
