Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, abrasive cleaners or compressed air, which can damage the carbon fibre finish and resin.
Remove the interior liner before washing; hand-wash in cool water with a gentle detergent and allow to air-dry completely before refitting.
Inspect the peak visor and its mounting points periodically; tighten or replace hardware if the visor feels loose during riding.
Do not leave the helmet in direct sunlight or inside a hot vehicle for extended periods — prolonged heat and UV exposure degrade EPS foam and liner materials.
Store the helmet on a flat surface or in a helmet bag; avoid hanging it from the peak or chin bar, which can distort the shell or retention system over time.
Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even when no visible damage is present — EPS liner foam does not recover after compression and the helmet's protective capacity is reduced.
