Remove the liner and cheek pads before washing; hand wash in warm water with a mild detergent and allow to air dry fully before reinstalling — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents, thinners or abrasive pads as these can degrade the shell finish and underlying foam.
Wipe down the peak visor after muddy sessions and clear debris from the visor pivot points to prevent stiffness or cracking over time.
Inspect the helmet carefully after any impact, including low-speed drops — replace it if you notice cracking, denting or any deformation of the EPS liner, even where external damage appears minor.
Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours and chemicals; prolonged UV exposure and petrochemical contact degrade shell materials and foam liners.
Do not apply solvent-based adhesives, paints or aftermarket graphics directly to the shell, as these can compromise structural integrity.
Replace the helmet in accordance with the manufacturer's guidance on service life; general industry practice recommends replacement every three to five years from first use, or sooner following a significant impact.
