The Fly Racing Formula CP is Fly Racing's premium carbon motocross helmet, designed for riders who require lightweight, high-integrity protection in off-road and motocross competition. Its carbon fibre composite shell pairs with a MIPS liner to address both direct and rotational impact forces.

Clean the outer shell with mild soap and warm water using a soft cloth; rinse thoroughly and air dry completely. Do not use solvents, petroleum-based cleaners or abrasive compounds on any part of the helmet.
Remove the interior padding and hand-wash in warm water with a mild detergent; allow padding to air dry fully before reinserting — never use a tumble dryer.
Inspect the helmet closely after any impact, regardless of how minor it appears. If cracks, deformation or damage to the EPS liner are found, retire the helmet immediately — it must not be reused after a significant impact.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapour and heat sources, which degrade both the shell and EPS liner over time.
Check the peak visor and its mounting screws before each ride; tighten loose screws and replace a cracked or broken visor.
Do not paint, apply non-manufacturer stickers or chemically treat the shell, as this can compromise structural integrity.
Inspect the chin strap and retention buckle regularly; replace if frayed, cracked or not latching securely.
As a general guideline, replace the helmet every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner following any impact or visible deterioration.
