The Fly Racing Formula CC is a full-face off-road helmet built around a carbon composite shell, offering a lighter alternative to traditional fibreglass constructions without stepping up to a pure carbon fibre price point. It is aimed at motocross, enduro, and trail riders who want meaningful weight savings and a strong shell in a competition-ready package.

- Wipe the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap only; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, acetone, or abrasive cleaners as these degrade composite materials and the clear coat finish.
- Remove the interior liner and cheek pads before washing; hand wash in cool to lukewarm water with a mild detergent, then air dry fully before reinstalling — do not machine wash or tumble dry.
- Clean goggle lenses with warm water and a soft cloth; never wipe a dry lens as dust particles will scratch the surface.
- Inspect the EPS liner for cracks, deformation, or flat spots after any impact — retire the helmet immediately if internal damage is found, even when the outer shell appears intact.
- Replace the helmet after any significant crash regardless of visible damage; EPS foam is a single-use energy absorber and will not perform to standard after a hard impact.
- Store the helmet in its protective bag away from direct sunlight, fuel, oils, and cleaning chemicals, all of which degrade composite shells and interior foam over time.
- Do not hang the helmet from handlebars, mirrors, or the peak; store on a flat surface or a dedicated helmet stand to prevent deformation of the interior padding.
- Check peak mounting screws periodically and re-tighten any loosened by vibration.
- Do not apply solvent-based adhesive stickers or incompatible paints directly to the shell without first confirming compatibility with carbon composite materials.
- Retire and replace the helmet in line with manufacturer guidance — materials degrade over time even without impact, and an aged helmet offers reduced protection.
