- Clean the outer shell with a soft damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or harsh chemicals that may degrade the shell finish or graphics.
- Clean the interior comfort liner by hand using mild shampoo and warm water; allow it to air-dry fully before use.
- Inspect the helmet before every ride for cracks, dents or any damage to the shell, EPS liner, peak, visor screws and retention system.
- Replace the helmet immediately following any significant impact, even if no visible damage is present — the EPS liner absorbs energy by deforming and cannot be relied upon after a hard strike.
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and sources of heat; prolonged UV exposure and high temperatures degrade both the shell and EPS materials.
- Avoid resting the helmet on motorcycle mirrors, handlebars or other raised points where an accidental fall could cause an undetected impact.
- Do not apply fuel, brake fluid or other chemicals to any part of the helmet; these can penetrate and weaken the shell and liner.
- Replace the helmet at least every five years from the date of manufacture, or sooner if any materials show signs of deterioration, even with no impact history.
