Hand wash in cool water with a mild detergent; acrylic knit does not need hot washing.
Do not wring or twist the knit — press out excess water gently between towels.
Reshape while damp and dry flat, away from direct heat and sunlight, to avoid stretching the crown.
Do not tumble dry, bleach or dry clean.
If pressing is needed, use a cool iron only — acrylic fibres can melt or glaze under high heat.
Remove any pilling with a fabric shaver or gentle de-pilling comb rather than pulling the fibres.
Store folded flat rather than hung, so the band keeps its shape.
This is a casual beanie, not protective headwear — do not wear it as a helmet liner unless it fits without altering helmet fit.
