The EBC Brakes FA092R is a replacement motorcycle disc pad set from EBC's FA Series R sintered range. It is supplied as a set and is intended as a direct replacement for the specific bikes and calipers listed against the FA092R part number.

Because EBC pad shapes are application-specific, always confirm FA092R is the correct fitment for your make, model and year using the EBC application catalogue before ordering. If you are unsure, send us your bike details and we will check it for you.

Suits riders replacing worn pads with a like-for-like sintered part rather than guessing on fitment.

  • Check FA092R against the EBC application catalogue for your exact make, model and year before fitting — pad shapes are not interchangeable.
  • Fit as a complete set per caliper; never mix new pads with part-worn pads or run a new pad against a badly worn one.
  • Inspect the discs before fitting and replace them if they are scored, warped or below the vehicle manufacturer's minimum thickness.
  • Clean the caliper, check that slider pins and pistons move freely, and retract the pistons slowly, watching the master cylinder reservoir for overflow.
  • Handle pads by the backing plate and keep the friction surface free of oil, grease and degreaser — contaminated pads must be replaced, not cleaned.
  • Bed the new pads in with a series of progressive stops from moderate speed before any hard braking, and expect reduced initial bite until they are bedded.
  • Some bedding-in noise and brake dust is normal early on; avoid dragging the brakes or holding the lever lightly for long periods.
  • Check pad thickness at every service and replace well before the friction material reaches the backing plate.
  • Re-check the fasteners, pad pins and retaining clips after the first ride following fitment.
  • If you are not confident working on brakes, have the pads fitted and bled by a qualified motorcycle mechanic.
