- Do not attempt to open the battery casing or add electrolyte — this is a sealed, factory-activated unit.
- Use a charger rated for AGM or Gel batteries; a standard wet-cell charger may overcharge and damage the battery.
- If storing the motorcycle for an extended period, connect the battery to a compatible maintenance/trickle charger to prevent deep discharge.
- Store in a cool, dry location away from direct sunlight and heat sources.
- Before fitting, inspect terminals for damage and ensure the battery voltage matches the vehicle's system requirements.
- When installing, connect the positive terminal first and disconnect the negative terminal first when removing.
- Keep terminals clean and lightly treated with terminal grease to prevent corrosion build-up.
