The Duro HF255 is a lug-pattern ATV tyre in the 26x12.00-12 size, made to suit 12-inch quad and utility ATV rims. Its open, deep-lug tread is aimed at loose and soft going — dirt, mud, sand and paddock work — where an aggressive block pattern helps the tyre bite and clear itself rather than pack up.

It runs a 6-ply rating carcass and a tubeless construction, so it suits riders after a hard-wearing replacement tyre for farm, property and general off-road duties. Sizing is wide (nominally 12 inches of section width on a 26-inch overall diameter), which spreads load and helps flotation on soft ground.

Fitment note: check your machine's recommended tyre size, rim width and pressures before ordering, as ATV tyre sizes are not interchangeable front to rear on all models.

Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre fitter using correct machinery — ATV tyres are stiff-walled and can be damaged by improper fitting.
Check that your rim is rated for tubeless use and is clean and undamaged before fitting; replace the valve at the same time as the tyre.
Inflate to the pressure specified by your machine's manufacturer and never exceed the maximum pressure moulded on the tyre sidewall.
Check pressures when the tyres are cold, before riding — ATV tyres run at low pressures and small losses make a noticeable difference to handling and bead security.
If the tread is directional, fit it so the tread follows any rotation arrow marked on the sidewall.
Inspect regularly for cuts, splits, embedded stones, sidewall bulges and lug damage, and check tread depth; replace the tyre if the carcass or sidewall is damaged.
Re-check wheel nut torque after the first ride following fitting, and periodically thereafter.
Wash with water and mild detergent only — avoid petroleum solvents, and don't dress the tyre with silicone-based shine products.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry, dark place away from direct sunlight, ozone sources such as electric motors, and fuels or oils.
Don't overload the machine beyond its rated capacity, and let the tyre cool before checking pressures after a hard run.
