Duro 13/5.00-6 HF224 TL 4PR TURF

The Duro HF224 is a turf-pattern tyre in the common 13x5.00-6 size, built as a tubeless (TL) fitment with a 4 ply rating. It suits front and rear positions on small wheeled equipment running a 6-inch rim, including ride-on mowers, garden tractors, utility carts and light ATV-type machines.

Turf tread patterns are designed for use on grass and other maintained surfaces, where a smoother, wider-footprint tread is preferred over an aggressive knobby block. Sold individually, so order the quantity you need for your machine.

Check and set inflation pressure when the tyre is cold, and never exceed the maximum pressure moulded into the sidewall.
As a tubeless tyre, it relies on a clean, undamaged and rust-free rim bead seat to hold air — inspect the rim before fitting.
Have the tyre fitted and balanced by a qualified tyre technician using correct tools; levering by hand risks bead and sidewall damage.
Re-check pressures before each period of use and after long storage, as small tubeless leaks can develop over time.
Inspect regularly for cuts, embedded stones, cracking or sidewall bulges, and replace the tyre if any are found.
Keep the tread clear of packed mud, grass and debris; rinse with water and mild detergent rather than solvents, petrol or tyre 'shine' products containing harsh chemicals.
Store spare tyres upright in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, electric motors and ozone sources.
If the machine is left standing for long periods, move it periodically or raise the axle to avoid flat-spotting.
