The DriRider BLVD Air is a casual soft shell riding jacket built for warm-weather commuting and around-town riding. It pairs a polyester soft shell body with 600D polyester panels and a tricot mesh outer, so it looks like everyday outerwear while still carrying motorcycle-grade construction underneath.

This is the vented version of the BLVD, so airflow comes through the mesh outer and lower-arm ventilation rather than a waterproof membrane — the Dri-Tex liner is fitted only to the waterproof model. A removable hood, lined pockets and upper arm and waist adjustment keep it easy to live with off the bike, while CE Level 1 shoulder and elbow armour and a zip connector for compatible DriRider pants cover the riding side.

Best suited to commuters and casual riders who want a low-key jacket for hot days and short urban trips in black.

Check that the shoulder and elbow armour is seated correctly in its pockets before every ride, and re-seat it after washing.
Remove the armour and detach the hood before cleaning — armour should never go through a washing machine or dryer.
Clean the shell with a mild detergent and cool water; rinse thoroughly so no detergent residue is left in the mesh and soft shell panels.
Avoid bleach, solvents, petrol and fabric softeners, which can degrade the shell fabrics and any reflective or taped detailing.
Drip or hang dry away from direct sunlight, heaters and exhaust pipes; do not tumble dry and do not iron.
This is the vented (Air) version and has no waterproof membrane — expect to get wet in sustained rain and allow the jacket to dry fully before storing.
Keep zips, including the pant connector zip, clean of grit and run them gently; a dry-lubricant zip stick helps if they start to bind.
Adjust the upper arm and waist straps so the armour stays over the joints rather than sliding when you move into a riding position.
Store on a wide hanger in a cool, dry place rather than folded, so the armour and shell panels keep their shape.
Inspect seams, stitching and armour for damage after any crash or slide, and replace the jacket or armour if either is compromised.
