DRC Tyre Bead Cream is a compact 40g tub of tyre mounting lubricant for riders and workshops who change their own tyres. It comes in a small plastic case that fits easily in a toolbox, tool roll or trackside kit, so it is there when you need it on race day or in the shed.

An application sponge is included in the case, so you can spread cream evenly over the bead and rim without needing a separate brush or rag. It suits anyone fitting dirt bike or road tyres by hand with tyre levers, where a lubricated bead makes the job easier and reduces the effort needed to seat the tyre.

Clean the rim flange and inspect the tyre bead for dirt or old rubber before applying, so the cream can do its job.
Use the included sponge to spread a thin, even film over both tyre beads and the rim flange — a light coat is enough, and excess makes the tyre slip on the rim.
Fit the tyre while the cream is still wet; if it dries out during a long fitting job, reapply a small amount.
Keep the cream away from brake discs, pads and tyre tread; if any transfers, clean the affected part thoroughly before riding.
Wipe away excess cream from the rim and tyre sidewall once the bead is seated.
Wash hands after use and wipe the sponge clean before returning it to the case.
Close the lid firmly after every use so the cream does not dry out or pick up grit.
Store upright in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources, and keep out of reach of children.
After fitting, re-check the bead is seated evenly all the way around and set tyre pressure before riding.
