The D.I.D Super Street 530ZVM-X2 is a premium X-Ring drive chain built for heavyweight, high-output motorcycles. ZVM-X and ZVM-X2 connecting links are not interchangeable — the pin lengths differ, so only fit the supplied ZB link or a correct ZVM-X2 replacement.
Check that 530 pitch and 122 links suit your motorcycle and sprocket combination before fitting; shorten to length only if your bike requires fewer links.
Joining the connecting link requires a proper chain tool — have the chain fitted by a qualified technician if you are not equipped to do the job correctly.
Never re-use a connecting link, and replace the chain and both sprockets as a matched set for even wear.
Adjust chain slack to the figure specified in your motorcycle's owner's manual, and re-check it after the first few hundred kilometres of use.
Clean with a chain-specific cleaner or mild degreaser and a soft brush; avoid harsh solvents, wire brushes, high-pressure washers and steam cleaners, which can damage the X-Ring seals.
Lubricate with an O-ring/X-ring–safe chain lubricant after cleaning, ideally while the chain is still warm from riding, and wipe away any excess.
Clean and lubricate more frequently after riding in wet, salty, sandy or dusty conditions.
Inspect regularly for tight or kinked links, damaged seals, rust and uneven slack, and replace the chain if any are found.
Store an unfitted chain in its packaging in a cool, dry place and leave the factory grease in place until installation.
