Denali SoundBomb V-Twin Dual-Tone Air Horn with Cover - Black

The Denali SoundBomb V-Twin kit pairs the SoundBomb Original dual-tone air horn with Denali's V-Twin horn cover, giving cruiser and touring riders a serious increase in audible presence without an aftermarket look bolted to the side of the engine. The gloss black shell and integrated chrome mounting bracket were styled to sit alongside the factory finishes used on Harley-Davidson and Indian motorcycles.

It mounts in the standard horn location on a long list of Harley-Davidson touring models, including Street Glide, Road Glide, Road King, Ultra Limited, Freewheeler and Tri Glide. At over 120 decibels, it is aimed at riders who spend time in heavy traffic and want to be heard by drivers who have not seen them.

Denali's plug-and-play V-Twin horn wiring harness (DNL.ELC.004) is sold separately and is worth adding for a straightforward installation.

Fit the horn in the factory horn location using the supplied bracket, and check that the cover clears surrounding bodywork, cabling and steering movement before final tightening.
Use the Denali plug-and-play V-Twin wiring harness (DNL.ELC.004) or an equivalent correctly rated circuit rather than wiring the horn directly into the original horn feed.
Re-check the mounting fasteners after the first few rides and periodically thereafter, as engine and road vibration can loosen them over time.
Sound the horn briefly on a regular basis; long periods of disuse can leave the compressor and diaphragm sluggish.
Keep the horn's air intake and outlet clear of mud, insects and road debris so airflow is not restricted.
Clean the gloss black cover with a soft damp cloth and mild soapy water only. Avoid solvents, petrol-based cleaners and abrasive polishes, which will dull the finish.
Do not aim a pressure washer directly at the horn or its wiring connectors.
Rinse away road salt, sand and grime after coastal or winter riding, and inspect the electrical connections for corrosion.
If the tone becomes weak or intermittent, check the earth and power connections and the harness fuse before assuming the horn has failed.
