The DENALI D3 is a compact, street-legal LED fog light built on a decade of DENALI auxiliary lighting development. A single 90 mm pod houses four high-intensity Cree LEDs behind a purpose-designed lens that throws a wide, sharply cut fog beam, giving you usable light low and out to the sides without throwing glare back at you in mist, dust or rain.

It suits riders adding certified auxiliary lighting to an adventure bike, tourer, commuter or cruiser, and it is sold as a single pod so you can build a pair, run a trio, or replace one light in an existing set. With DataDim three-wire smart dimming, the D3 pairs with DENALI's dimming controllers to run at reduced output as a daytime running light and step up to full power when you need it.

Construction is aimed at long-term life on a bike: a submersible DrySeal housing, polycarbonate bezels that resist cracking and corrosion, and LiveActive thermal management to hold light output steady as the LEDs heat up. A low-profile bracket and stainless steel hardware are supplied.

Supply the light from a 9-32 V DC source only; running it outside this range risks damaging the driver electronics.
To use DataDim smart dimming, wire the three-wire lead to a compatible DENALI dimming controller. On a simple two-wire switched circuit the light will run at full output.
Aim the beam low and level so the cut-off sits below the eyeline of oncoming traffic - a fog beam is designed to work close to the road surface, and aiming it high defeats the pattern and dazzles others.
Mount the pod to a solid bracket or bar and use the supplied stainless steel hardware. Avoid mounting to plastic bodywork or unsupported panels that flex under vibration.
Re-check bracket bolts and the aim after the first few rides, then periodically, as engine and road vibration can loosen fasteners over time.
Clean the lens and bezel with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth. Rinse road grime and insects off before wiping so grit does not scratch the polycarbonate.
Do not use solvents, fuel, alcohol, abrasive pads or harsh degreasers on the lens or bezel, and avoid aiming a high-pressure washer directly at the housing or the cable gland.
The housing is IP67 submersible, so riding in heavy rain, deep puddles and crossings is fine - but keep the wiring loom, connectors and any controller clear of standing water and secure them away from hot or moving parts.
The LEDs and housing get hot in use; allow the light to cool before handling, cleaning or adjusting it.
Inspect the wiring, connectors and cable entry for chafing or corrosion at each service, and route the loom with a little slack so steering and suspension movement does not tug on it.
If output dims or flickers, check battery voltage, earth points and connector condition first - these are far more common causes than a fault in the light.
