The Denali D2 is a compact auxiliary LED light pod built to strike a balance between reach down the road at night and being seen during the day. A single 10-watt Cree XPL HI LED produces 1095 raw lumens from a pod just over two inches across, so it adds meaningful light without dominating the front of the bike.
It suits riders fitting auxiliary lighting to a road, adventure or touring machine, particularly anyone running a DataDim-compatible setup who wants the pods to dim automatically rather than run at full output all the time. Spot lenses come fitted, and a set of E-Mark approved elliptical flood lenses is included so you can change the beam pattern to suit your riding.
Construction is aimed at year-round use: DrySeal submersible sealing, IP67 rating, Impact PC polycarbonate bezels that resist cracking, fading and corrosion, and LiveActive thermal management to hold output steady as the light heats up. Sold as a single pod with a low-profile hinge mount and stainless steel hardware.

- Mount the pod using the supplied hinge bracket and M8 stainless steel hardware, choosing a location with clear airflow so the LiveActive thermal management can shed heat.
- Aim the beam with the bike upright and loaded as you normally ride it, then tighten the hinge hardware so vibration cannot shift the aim; recheck tension after the first few rides and periodically thereafter.
- Wire the pod through the supplied pigtail to a fused, switched 12 VDC supply, and route the loom clear of steering movement, hot exhaust components and suspension travel.
- To use dimming, connect the pod to a DataDim-compatible controller; without one it simply runs at full output.
- Swap between the fitted spot lenses and the included E-Mark approved elliptical flood lenses to change the beam pattern - work in a clean, dry area and reseat the lens seal fully so the DrySeal rating is maintained.
- Clean the lens and polycarbonate bezel with warm water, mild soap and a soft cloth; avoid solvents, fuel, abrasive pads and harsh cleaners, which can haze polycarbonate.
- The pod is IP67 rated and submersible, so washing and wet-weather riding are fine, but avoid directing a high-pressure washer at the lens seal or connectors.
- Inspect the lens, bezel and wiring connections for damage, chafing or corrosion at regular service intervals, and keep unused connectors capped and dry.
- Check that any local road-use requirements are met before riding on the road, and cover or switch off auxiliary lights where they are not permitted.
