The DRC Air Valve Puller is a compact workshop tool that takes the fiddle out of tyre work. Rather than wrestling a valve stem through the rim hole with your fingers, the puller attaches to the stem so you can draw it straight through the hole.
It suits anyone who changes their own tyres or repairs flats — home mechanics, trail riders and race-day pit crews alike. The puller head also doubles as a valve core removal tool, so one small item covers two common jobs. Supplied in blue.

- Deflate the tube fully and remove the valve core before starting, using the puller head on the core.
- Attach the puller squarely to the valve stem thread so it seats fully before you apply any pull — a partly engaged thread can strip the stem.
- Draw the stem through the rim hole with steady hand pressure in line with the hole; do not lever the tool sideways against the rim or use it as a tyre lever.
- Hold the tube clear of the rim edge and rim tape while pulling so the stem base is not pinched or torn.
- Remove the puller before refitting the valve core, cap and any rim lock or valve nut.
- Wipe off tyre soap, lubricant and rim sealant after each use, then dry the tool so the threads stay clean and corrosion free.
- Use hand tools only — do not fit the puller to a rattle gun or drill.
- Store dry in a toolbox or tyre-change kit; check the thread for damage before each use and replace the tool if it is stripped or bent.
