The X-Tech No Cut Crash Knobs are a bolt-on frame protection solution designed specifically for the Honda CBR1000RR (2008–2011). They mount without any fairing modification, making them a straightforward fitment for riders who want crash protection without cutting into their bodywork.
Intended for road and track use, these crash knobs provide a buffer between the motorcycle's frame and the ground in a low-side or tip-over, helping to limit damage to engine cases, fairings and other costly components.

- Verify the crash knobs are the correct no-cut variant for your specific 2008–2011 CBR1000RR before fitting — confirm model year and any regional variant differences.
- Follow the manufacturer's torque specification when installing mounting bolts; do not overtighten, as this can stress the frame bosses.
- Inspect crash knobs after any crash, tip-over or contact with the ground — even minor impacts can compromise the material integrity.
- Replace immediately if the knob shows cracking, deep gouging, significant deformation or any damage to the mounting hardware following an impact.
- Check mounting bolt torque periodically as part of routine maintenance to ensure the knobs have not worked loose through vibration.
