Clean the outer shell with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap; avoid petroleum-based solvents or abrasive cleaners, which can damage the finish and shell integrity.
Clean the interior liner using a damp cloth or, if removable, hand-wash with mild detergent and allow to air dry fully before reinserting.
Wipe the visor (if fitted) with a clean, lint-free cloth; never wipe a dry visor as grit can scratch the surface.
Store the helmet in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, and extreme heat, all of which degrade foam and shell materials over time.
Do not hang the helmet by its chin strap for extended periods, as this can deform the shell.
