Clean the outer shell with a soft cloth dampened with mild soapy water; avoid petroleum-based solvents, fuels or abrasive cleaners as these can degrade the shell finish and foam liner.
Clean the interior padding and liner with a soft cloth lightly dampened with mild detergent; allow to dry fully before wearing.
Wipe the visor or eye port seal with a soft, damp microfibre cloth to avoid scratching; never use dry abrasive materials on clear surfaces.
Inspect the helmet before each ride for cracks, dents or any deformation to the shell or inner foam — retire and replace the helmet if damage is found.
Replace the helmet immediately after any significant impact, even if no visible damage is apparent, as the inner EPS liner may be compromised.
Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and fuel vapours, which can degrade foam and shell materials over time.
Do not rest the helmet on the mirrors or tank where it may roll and strike a hard surface.
