  • Clean the outer shell with mild soapy water and a soft, damp cloth; never use petroleum-based solvents, petrol, abrasive cleaners or spray polishes, as these degrade the shell material and any graphics.
  • Clean any visor or face shield with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent applied with a wet cloth; never dry-wipe, as this will scratch the lens surface.
  • Allow all helmet components to air-dry fully in a well-ventilated area before storage or use.
  • Store in a helmet bag or on a shelf away from direct sunlight, fuel vapours, exhaust fumes and chemical storage — prolonged exposure to these degrades EPS foam liners and shell resins.
  • Replace the helmet after any significant impact, even if external damage is not visible; EPS liner absorbs energy by compressing and cannot be inspected without destructive testing.
  • Do not paint, drill, apply solvent-based adhesives, or structurally modify the helmet in any way.
  • Inspect the chin strap, buckle and retention system regularly for fraying, corrosion or wear, and have components replaced if any deterioration is found.
  • Refer to the manufacturer's documentation for the recommended service life of this helmet and retire it accordingly.
