Castrol Transmax Axle Long Life 75W-90 is a full synthetic gear oil supplied in a 1 litre bottle, formulated for modern axles, differentials and final drives working under demanding conditions.
The SAE 75W-90 viscosity grade gives dependable lubrication across a wide temperature range, while the full synthetic base delivers strong wear protection, thermal stability and extended drain capability. It suits riders and workshops servicing shaft-drive final drives and differentials that call for a 75W-90 gear lubricant.

- Check your vehicle's owner's manual or workshop manual to confirm the required gear oil specification, viscosity and fill capacity before use.
- Drain the old oil while the drivetrain is warm so it flows freely and carries contaminants out with it — take care, as warm oil and components can burn.
- Renew the drain and fill plug sealing washers where fitted, and torque plugs to the manufacturer's specification.
- Fill to the level specified for your machine and recheck the level once the oil has settled.
- Do not mix with other gear oils or additives; drain and refill rather than topping up with a different product.
- Avoid contaminating the oil with water, dirt or solvent — refit the bottle cap immediately and store part-used bottles upright and sealed.
- Store in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight and away from ignition sources.
- Wear gloves and eye protection when handling, and wash off any skin contact with soap and water.
- Collect used oil and take it to a council waste-oil collection point or workshop for recycling; never pour it down a drain or onto the ground.
- Inspect the axle or final drive seals and breather for leaks after servicing, and recheck the level after the first ride.
